Water Dancer began with a study of how the Nudibranch swims through water. The analysis revealed that the creature uses its musular membrane body in a sine wave motion. The model seeks to capture this movement by creating the kinetics of a sine wave through linear components that give the impression of a larger membrane. The components and structure are attached to a rounded base for bouyancy as the linear fins brush across the top of the water.
